Aside from football, Jamal Musiala was primarily a basketball fan for a long time. But now his love for football and the NFL is apparently rekindling.
Frankfurt am Main – Football still generates great enthusiasm in Germany. This was also evident in the most recent NFL game in Munich between the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers (17:20), the Munich Game. Some FC Bayern players attended the spectacle on site. Among them: Jamal Musiala, who sees himself as a wide receiver.
Does he do it like Kane? Bayern star Musiala reveals favorite position in football
Musiala is currently in the vicinity of the German national team. Before the games against Bosnia and Herzegovina (on Saturday, November 16th, 8:45 p.m.) and in Hungary (on Tuesday, November 19th, 8:45 p.m.), the 21-year-old spoke to some media representatives at the DFB campus in Frankfurt am Main NFL and revealed that he could “only play wide receiver.” The 21-year-old didn’t reveal why.
But he is not the only Munich professional who is toying with being a footballer. His offensive colleague Harry Kane is also a big fan of the NFL and has spoken several times in recent years about a possible second career in the football league. So Musiala is doing like Kane and dreaming of a playing career in the NFL? Probably not.
FCB striker Kane could be serious about an NFL career – but Musiala isn’t
Because the Englishman is probably much more serious about his football career than Musiala, who has now only revealed his possible position. Kane, on the other hand, can actually imagine playing as an NFL player.
Musiala, who has so far mainly been a basketball enthusiast, has been watching NFL games more recently, but admitted: “I don’t have such a solid team yet.” The Bayern playmaker has a favorite team in football, and they would like to extend the contract with the 21-year-old. so not found yet.
NFL passion is growing: Musiala watched the Munich Game with Bayern colleagues
Musiala, who recently excelled at Munich, certainly sympathizes with the reigning NFL champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. But at the DFB press conference he also indicated that he had not yet decided on the franchise.
Some of his club colleagues also watched the Munich game in the Allianz Arena, including Manuel Neuer, who was booed while wearing a Panthers uniform. And with Alphonso Davies and Leroy Sané, Musiala did a strange thing in the stands during the NFL game. (wow)
