As the Miami Dolphins take on the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday to set a winning streak record, they have made some personnel changes to the roster that will surprise many fans. After the Dolphins landed linebacker Tyrel Dodson on Tuesday, they made other changes, increasing winger Jack Stoll’s exemption from the Philadelphia Eagles and dropping linebacker David Long Jr, who had been named captain earlier this season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
As recently as October 27 against the Arizona Cardinals, Lang was also a certified starter before being replaced by Anthony Walker Jr., who made numerous tackles for Miami. He played in 29 games when the Dolphins signed him as a free agent last year, but he had a bad season, according to Pro Soccer Focus and the Palm Beach Post. Out of 83 line guards, he is ranked 83rd.
The Dolphins are playing for a much-needed win against the Los Angeles Rams, but they want to improve their roster, as they have now used that vacant spot for Stoll. The 26-year-old undrafted player from Nebraska, who started the season with Philadelphia, caught two passes for 10 yards.
As previously reported, Miami added that Dodson specifically filled the position of long line guard, who started all nine games this season for the Seattle Seahawks with 71 total tackles, 41 solo, two sacks and two missed passes.

During the first five years of his career, he played with AFC East rivals Buffalo Bill, as he was an undrafted free agent from Texas A&M University. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spoke about the team’s acquisition of Dorson and mentioned he was shocked he was able to get a waiver.
“He was in our division, against him, and he was there to surprise people,” McDaniel said via the team transcript. “Chris Grier always tries to make the team better and we believe more is better.”

“In the National Rugby League, because of all the things and the results it brought, I don’t think people understand the consequences very well,” McDaniel said. There’s a lot to do, a lot of preparation, and most importantly you have to prepare yourself to win a match, and when you do, you lose, it happens within a three week period and it feels like it’s was eternal. »
