Mihálik went around Bořil in the penalty area, pre-kicked the ball, wanted to go to the side, and the Slavist captain rammed into him. The Hradec attacker fell, the referee Beneš decided for a few moments, finally punishing Mihálik with a yellow card.
“It was definitely not on the yellow light, the contact was there,” Horejš described. “I don’t want to make excuses. I liked the performance of the referee, he let the game go, he was great. More matches like this. We respect his decision, but it was definitely not a yellow card,” continued Horejš.
“I would phase the fall of Mihálik. First there was contact and there is a millisecond when I see two movements of Mihálik. I wouldn’t whistle a penalty or give a yellow card. Mihálik may have added to it lightly, but I think it was a normal fight. But I don’t think he should get a yellow card for simulating,” ex-league player Jakub Podaný explained the situation in the O2 TV sport studio.

The coach was furious at that moment. He received the fourth yellow card of the season and will not be able to be on the bench in the next match in Liberec. “I have never sued,” Horejš was relieved at the press conference.

“I didn’t really say anything at that point. The referee looked for the culprit, but when he didn’t see him, he was instructed to give the yellow card to the coach because he was responsible. I said are you kidding me. There were emotions because I knew I already had three,” Horejš described. When Saba, hiding from the referee, returned to the bench, the coach immediately slapped him and indicated that he had received the fourth yellow card of the season.
