After the break, Espanyol reduced the deficit through Javi Puado in the 63rd minute. Barcelona won the match 3-1.
This result makes Hansi Flick’s troops even stronger at the top of the LaLiga standings. The Blaugrana collected 33 points, nine points ahead of Real Madrid below. Meanwhile, Espanyol is in 17th place with just 10 points.
The Course of the Match
Barcelona immediately appeared pressing in this match entitled the Catalan Derby. Dani Olmo had a chance at the start of the match. However, his header from a cross from the left still went up.
