The IES La Orden Badminton Club once again attracted attention for another weekend in two national events. The albiazules won a total of 6 metals, 3 gold, 2 silver and a bronze, in the Extremadura Top TTR Absolute and Senior held last Saturday at the Juancho Pérez Pavilion in Badajoz.
Rubén Amador made a double after becoming champion of the Men’s Singles and Mixed Doubles together with his partner María Díaz, who also won gold in Women’s Doubles together with Alba Padilla.
Padilla was second in Women’s Singles, like Alejandro Salobral who achieved silver in Men’s Singles, as well as bronze in Men’s Doubles with Adán Candelario.
Calatrava’s Absolute Moral TTR Top
The albiazul club was among the great winners of the Top TTR Absolute held in Moral de Calatrava (Ciudad Real), after achieving 4 medals.
Pablo Abián was proclaimed double champion in Men’s Singles and Doubles along with his brother Javier Abián, who won another gold with Inés Piña. The albiazul player also qualified in first place in the Women’s Doubles along with Silvia Redondo.
Todobádminton Circuit
The Recreativo IES La Orden also had a brilliant performance in the Todobadminton Circuit held in the Malaga town of Humilladero, in which 31 Huelva athletes participated, winning 18 medals, 4 gold, 4 silver and 10 bronze.
Andalusian League
The negative note was the defeat of Recreativo IES La Orden D in the Andalusian Club League-Second Territorial. The people of Huelva lost by the minimum (3-4) against Club Bádminton Ronda and were defeated against Club Bádminton La Encina by 1-6.
