On the Deník website, we brought the reaction of the deputy mayor of the city of České Budějovice, Petr Maroš, to the information that was heard in the Dynamo České Budějovice club video by Emil Kristek.
“We are not negotiating with Dynamo yet,” he says. You can find the article here: Maroš reacts
It didn’t take long and he called Emil Kristek: “My quote was not understood correctly,” he says, explaining: “It was an answer to a question about the club’s visions. I based my answer on three cornerstones: economic stabilization, saving the team in the first league, continuing the development of the Academy. With the fact that he certainly has the interest of the club (Mr. Dalibor Jirka) in communication and cooperation with the city and the region. According to my information, there have been no concrete negotiations, but it is discussed in the club and during matches. As Mr. Petr Maroš correctly defines, I am not in any statutory body of the Academy and I won’t either. It was meant in the future tense…I’m sorry for the misunderstanding,” added Emil Kristek. “It is not important whether there were negotiations or not, the important thing is that both sides want to negotiate. We are very well aware that without municipalities, without the city, we cannot do it ourselves. No club can do that. Dalibor Jirka wants to negotiate, it is important that both sides had that desire to negotiate.”
