The stadium Benito Villamarín has joined, as it could not be otherwise, the displays of affection and solidarity with the victims of DANA that devastated many towns in the province of Valencia, the Valencian Community and also in Castilla-La Mancha. First of all, the Betis and Celje players They jumped onto the pitch, listened to the anthem of the Conference League and Betis and made the usual handrail with some t-shirts in which you could read ‘Valencia Force’. Also, they posed like this before the graphic media.

Then came the most emotional moment of the night. A meaning minute of silence. It is common for the Betis anthem to be heard over the public address system during the minutes of silence at the Villamarín. On this occasion, and in sign of maximum respect for the victims of the tragedy that occurred in Valencia at the beginning of last week, the composition was not put and the entire stadium lived silentlywithout any soundsaid minute prior to the match, with the two teams and the referee quartet, forming in the central circle.

That minute of silence it broke at the endwhen, from one of the Benito Villamarín stands, a voice could be heard shouting «Long live Valencia, long live Spain!». Furthermore, in the First Amphitheater of North Gol a fan showed a flag of the Valencian Community.
