Oberberg. As part of the anniversary celebration, BWO managing director Jens Kämper honored 37 people with cognitive impairments for their many years of cooperation. In addition to Christmas, the summer festival and carnival, the employee anniversary celebration is the date that people look forward to most in the annual calendar of BWO (Bilden. Wirken.Oberberg. GmbH).
Those celebrating their tenth, 25th or 40th service anniversary are looking forward to the celebration organized for them and the management is looking forward to the opportunity to thank employees with disabilities.
“Without your performance, we would not be able to do this great work for our customers,” said managing director Jens Kämper, praising the jubilarians on their special day, which took place at the Gähnfeld meeting center in Wiehl-Obantenberg. Together with the educational director Johannes Wester and Andrea Theis from the workshop council, Kämper once again took the time this year to ask each of the 37 people celebrating an anniversary to come forward individually and to thank them for their many years of cooperation with a certificate and presents.
The BWO managing director particularly emphasized the commitment of WaltraudSchauburg, Dirk Roggendorff, Dietmar Zanchettin, Barbara Geukes, Jutta Kolb and Matthias Schmidt, who were celebrating their 40th anniversary: “Four decades with one employer – not many people can do that.”
The employees of the accompanying service at the Lichtenberg workshop provided the celebratory setting. They had decorated the meeting center for autumn, ordered food and organized the appropriate musical entertainment.
First of all, the Regenbogenexpress, the BWO Lichtenberg band, created a great atmosphere and singer Jona Krispin created a surprise with his self-written and impressively performed BWO rap.
BWO employee Heiner Jungebluth played with his accordion and it didn’t take long until the dance floor also fulfilled its purpose.
