The Three Lions had the ball but did not scare the Green Army. On the rainy Sunday night, the Creators put their ticket to the elite of the UEFA Nations League at risk. At the moment they draw 0-0 at Wembley and depend on Greece not winning.
England had two relatively clear situations against the Republic of Ireland. One was in the 4th minute on a corner from the right that Kyle Walker headed just wide. The other, at half an hour, after a combination between Noni Madueke and Jude Bellingham that the Real Madrid man could not define.
At the end of the first half, the tie left the Three Lions in serious complications. With this result, if equality is maintained, promotion in the Nations League must have an extra chapter for England in case Greece beats Finland.
