The script for the first EU trade deal of the second Trump era is written. The negotiators are scheduled to travel to South America at the end of November to finalize the final details of the agreement with the Mercosur states Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and, since the summer, Bolivia. The deal is scheduled to be sealed at the Mercosur summit in Montevideo on December 6th. Flight and hotel for Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have been booked.
