It is a prohibitive match on paper for PF due to the physicality of the visiting team’s big men, combined with a battery of wingers with many points in their hands who this year has also been joined by former Fariglianese captain Michele Manfredi. However, PF played great for 35 minutes, putting their heart into it and remaining close to the score (sometimes even ahead, to the excitement of the large crowd present). However, against this team that had lost in the play-offs to go to Gold, it becomes difficult to think of winning. The satisfaction remains for the good performance.

Third defeat of the season (again with a big player), at the end of a match unfortunately played for 35 minutes with little attention and intensity in defense and often confusion in attack. PF plays a good first quarter (12-13), while in the second Saluzzo extends up to +10, before being caught again: 34-39 at the long interval. When they return to the field, Farigliano is in confusion (48-63) and in the last quarter they play evenly although in the final they concede a couple of baskets to the guests who thus maintain their unbeaten season. Sunday the first opportunity for redemption with Moncalieri, author of a good championship so far.

Home match for the Fariglianese team fresh from the defeat in the last seconds against CUS Torino. PF faces the match well and is clear and spirited in the first 10 minutes, closing at -1. The second period sees Saluzzo attempt to escape, but Farigliano resists, hits from distance and with good solutions at the rim loses by a few points (27 to 34 at mid-match). The third period starts again along the lines of the previous ones but Saluzzo manages to obtain a double-digit advantage after 30′. PF then, in the final period, suffered the opponents’ raids without appeal until the final score was 55 to 82.
