Buenavista, Michoacán, November 23, 2024.- During an operational action carried out in the town of Vicente Guerrero, in this municipality of Buenavista, federal and state agents seized four rifles, 734 useful cartridges of different calibers and six improvised explosive devices.
While carrying out preventive patrols in said place, elements of the Civil Guard, Mexican Army and National Guard were attacked by armed civilians after receiving gunshots.
They immediately repelled the attack without any injuries to uniformed officers; A perimeter fence was made in the area to find those responsible for the incident.
Moments later, four long weapons, ammunition of different calibers, 12 magazines, tactical vests and six explosives were located on a property, which in accordance with established protocols were destroyed on site by specialized personnel. In addition, two Ford trucks reported stolen and two Italika motorcycles were seized.
What was seized will be presented to the competent authority to carry out legal proceedings. The SSP, together with federal and state forces, does not lower its guard to safeguard the population and combat anyone who violates the rules with their conduct.
