The delegation of the Catamarca Judo Federation had an excellent performance in the Clausura National Championship, which was held in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy, where it obtained ten medals, three gold, one silver and three bronze, in addition to three fifth places.
The Catamarca delegation was made up of 19 competitors, with judokas from the 250-home and San Ramón municipal gyms, the Cuban judo school, the Judokan gym of Nueva Coneta (Capayan) and Paclín.
Among more than 1,200 competitors from all over the country with representation from the 24 provincial federations, who competed in the Basketball Federation stadium and with excellent organization from the Jujeña Judo Federation, Catamarca was ranked 15th.

Benicio Córdoba (Cuban judo school) in Children’s Cat. A 42 Kg.

Bruno Roldán (San Ramón municipal gym) in Cat. Cadets graduated 60 Kg.
Malena Álvarez Córdoba (Cuban judo school) in Children’s Category B 58 Kg.
Emiliano Cuello (San Ramón municipal gym) in Cat. Kyu novice 73 Kg.
Fifth places
Lihué Serrón (municipal gymnasium 250 homes) in Cat. Junior novice 73 Kg.
Natalia Rodríguez (municipal gym 250 homes) in Cat. Kyu novice 57 Kg.
Ludmila Pereira (Cuban judo school) in Children’s Cat. A 52 Kg.
The delegation had as technicians Osvaldo Temprano García (5th dan), Manuel Alejandro Romero (5th dan) and Ramona Pontífice (1st dan) and as president of the Federation was Carlos Romanos (7th dan).
Acknowledgments
The Federation thanked the support received for the means of transportation provided by the Secretary of Health, Human Development and Social Policies of the Municipality of the Capital, Alberto Natella, with excellent service from the drivers.
In addition, the Federation contributed with the registrations to the National of the judokas who participated in the federative tournament as well as paid the annual fee to the Argentine Judo Confederation. n
