Our Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team hosted Anadolu Efes in the 7th week of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League 2024-25 Asım Pars season. Our team won the match played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall 86-72, getting its sixth victory in its seventh match.
Our Board Members and one of the captains of our Football A Team, İrfan Can Kahveci, also watched the match.
After the win, we celebrated Dyshawn Pierre’s birthday in our locker room.
Our team started the match; Sertaç Şanlı, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Bonzie Colson, Emre Ekşioğlu, Arturs Zagars started with the five. The first quarter, which was balanced and witnessed mutual shooting, ended with a tie of 21-21. Our team started the second quarter with Emre Ekşioğlu’s three-pointer and then took the lead by bringing the score to 28-23 with unsportsmanlike foul shots. Our team, which performed effectively in attack with Nicolo Melli, Nigel Hayes-Davis and Arturs Zagars in the remaining parts of the quarter, increased the difference to double digits and went to the locker room ahead 49-35. Fenerbahçe Beko started the third period with points from Bonzie Colson and Sertaç Şanlı and brought the score to 55-41. Our team widened the gap in the last 5 minutes of the quarter with Marko Guduric putting his emphasis on the game, and entered the deciding quarter ahead by 17 points, 67-50. Continuing its fast-paced and controlled game in the fourth period, Fenerbahçe Beko won the match by 14 points, 86-72.
