Manizales, November 9, 2024. The Bogotá delegation begins its participation in the I National Youth Games in the city of Manizales with figure skating and women’s basketball, the competitions will continue in the Coffee Region until November 28.
Figure skating will enter the scene on November 10 and 11 at the Coliseum of the University of Caldas, the capital of the Republic will compete with 8 skaters, 4 men and 4 women, who will seek the gold, silver and bronze medals. Likewise, the women’s basketball quintet will face its counterpart from Antioquia at the Coliseo Mayor starting at one in the afternoon.
This championship will be played in two groups of four, where the first two from each group will qualify, who will compete in the semifinal, the two winners will go for gold and silver, while the losers will compete for bronze.
Meanwhile, karate do and speed skating that are already concentrated in the city of Manizales begin competitions next Sunday, November 10.
Manizales, a city located in the Colombian coffee zone, will have a variety of sports such as fencing, soccer, mountain biking, taekwondo and table tennis.
