Thanks to the intensive work of Judoka Riccionese ASD Of Riccione sports clubthe National Directorate of CSEN brought the most important event of the year in the judo sector of the first sports promotion body in Italy back to the Play Hall of the Romagna town. They have been registered 1,500 athletes from 8 to 60 years old in an unprecedented two days. The parterre of the sports hall was set up with 7 regulation tatamis, which made it possible to manage the progress of the match in an optimal way despite the numbers, thanks to the logistical commitment put in place by the newly formed Riccione sports association.
From a sporting point of view, the home club has established itself as a top club in the youth sector: 74 athletes registered with the association have played on the tatami, thanks to the collaboration with numerous clubs from Romagna and beyond, with which they have been collaborating for years. collaborates in joint weekly training sessions. This allowed the Riccionesi to win the first in the under 12 ranking and an important one third place in the general ranking of under 14s.

Among them agoniststhe people from Riccione achieved several podiums: Cecilia Nassuato wins gold in the 44 kg rookie B category (even though his category would have been 40 kg). Bruno Karamba Star anise, 81 kg under 23 category, took the third step of the podium, defeated only in the semi-final after a hard-fought match, as was his brother Xavier Badiane. Luca Nassuato, the only master athlete, he took third place.
Two athletes also gave great satisfaction in their very first experience: Mina Achille (12 years) e Matteo Bregu (25 years old), who competed for the first time among the lower belts and took second and third place respectively in their categories. Unfortunately he stayed away from the podium Alessandro Nassuatowho after winning the first match, had to give in to more experienced athletes in the quarter-finals and then in the repechage.
Among the athletes from Riccione competing, there were many preagonists, almost all of them were new to this type of event and, despite their very young age, they faced teammates and opponents from all over Italy for the first time: Lorenzo Bertozzi, Vittoria Capacchione, Marco D’Agostino, Giovanni Di Luigi, Michele Di Muro, Andrea Giorgi , Enea Larosa, Maksim Martinelli, Giulia Matteini, Matteo Terentiev and Elia Ronci.
