Flamengo faces Cruzeiro this Wednesday (06), in the 32nd round of the Brasileirão
After a 3-1 victory over Atlético-MG on Sunday (03), the Flamengo squad has already started preparing for the game against Cruzeiro, in the Brasileirão. In training this Monday (04), midfielder Matheus Gonçalves ‘scheduled’ himself for the clash this Wednesday (06), at Arena Independência.
Through social media, Flamengo published some photos of the activity that took place this morning, at CT Ninho do Urubu. Matheus Gonçalves reposted the message from the club in which he appeared and wrote the following message: “I’m ON”. Thus, the Ninho child made it clear that he will be available to Filipe Luís for the clash on Wednesday (06).

WILL FILIPE LUÍS SAVE THE FLAMENGO TEAM?
In a press conference after the victory over Atlético-MG, in the Copa do Brasil, coach Filipe Luís made it clear that he does not intend to spare the team in the game against Cruzeiro. However, due to some athletes showing greater wear and tear, the tendency is for changes to happen in Flamengo’s starting team.
— We don’t have a group to spare. We have a Brasileirão ahead of us, we have to beat Cruzeiro. We will start studying tomorrow (Monday), the players will start to rest. Some will need more time, others less. We will try to play a great game against Cruzeiro because that’s what we have -, declared Filipe Luís, in a press conference on Sunday (03).
