Friday, November 22, at Le Mans, there were all the ingredients of an ambush for US Orléans: an opponent on edge, still waiting for its first victory at home, a renowned stadium (ex-MMA, now named Marie-Marvingt, one of the most imposing in the National), and a freezing evening, not to put a footballer outside. The Orléanais however protected themselves, thanks to an exemplary start to the match (two goals scored in the 7th and 21st minutes) and a mastery which escorted them throughout the match (0-2). A hint of class, on the second goal, scored by Lucas Bretelle, made the victory (the 6th of the season, the 4th obtained away) more memorable.
