Kuhoo Garg has landed a government post in the Indian Police Service (IPS) after passing the UPSC exam. Having grown up witnessing her father help others, Kuhoo is also driven to make a difference in the world.
Career Journey
Ashok Kumar, the father of Kuhoo Garg, held a position that might be transferred. As a result, Kuhoo first studied in several cities as well. Kuhoo Garg had his elementary schooling at Dehradun’s St Joseph School. She then attended Delhi’s Sanskriti School from eighth to twelfth grade. She graduated with honours in economics from SRCC, one of Delhi University’s best institutions, in 2018. She met some pals at this time that she still keeps in touch with now.
Sports Achievement
Kuhoo has participated in and won numerous national and international badminton competitions. She is the first player to pass the UPSC exam, while playing for Team India, according to Ashok Kumar. This is a significant accomplishment for Kuhoo in the open category under such circumstances. Dr DK Sen was the coach of Kuhoo Garg. She also had the opportunity to study with Gopichand, Saina Nehwal’s coach. She took home the gold at the 2019 South Asian Games and the silver at the 2019 National Championship.
According to Kuhoo Garg, a person’s life transforms at a certain moment. Kuhoo, who has played badminton since she was a young child, had surgery after suffering an unexpected injury. For a year, she had to stay in bed. Kuhoo Garg studied for the UPSC test during this period. She received a lot of assistance during this time from her school friend Narayani Bhatia. In UPSC-2023, Narayani Bhatia achieved the 45th rank. She is a UP cadre and an IAS official.
