The Fursty Razorbacks have elected a new department manager. In addition, a grant brings great joy to the people of Bruck.

Fürstenfeldbruck – In this case, it’s not May that makes everything new, but November. The American football players from the Fursty Razorbacks elected a new department manager shortly before the start of the Advent season. And it was under the motto “Generation Change”. Because the committee is completely new. In the future, department management and coaching positions will be in one hand – or rather two.

The new head of the football department at Brucker TuS is Lukas Schmid, who is also the head coach of the second division team. In the future, his deputy will be Marc Schmid, who is not related to him or related by marriage, and who has the second guard under his coaching wing. Also elected: treasurer Michaela Schuler, youth director Patrick Mok, secretary Felix Schuler and technical director Marcus Werner. The previous department head Stephan Bertsch, who took over the office after Lukas Dohrmann resigned, is no longer represented on the board. Bertsch is also a member of the main club’s executive team. The previous sporting director Butch Dohrmann only works as a junior coach.

“We are looking forward to the task of bringing a breath of fresh air into the club, but we are aware that a complete change involves a lot of work,” says the new department head Lukas Schmid. The team would therefore be happy to receive further active support. In financial terms, this already existed: The Sparda Bank is giving the TuS footballers 1,000 euros, which should be used to buy a marking robot. It should make it easier for the Razorbacks to mark the lines on the field. (Andreas Daschner)
