LeBron James has already entered the home stretch and his career is coming to an end. “To be completely honest, I won’t be playing that much longer,” the Los Angeles Lakers basketball star said in a media roundtable on Thursday. “I won’t play until the wheels fall off. I’m not that kind of guy.”

James, who will turn 40 at the end of December, has been playing in the professional league since 2003 and has won the NBA title four times. Twice with the Miami Heat and once each with his hometown club Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lakers.
LeBron makes NBA history with son Bronny
He doesn’t know “how many more years” he’ll be running across the field. “Whether one, whether two, whatever.” His contract runs until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Most recently, “King” James made history while playing for the Lakers with his son Bronny. There had never been a father-son duo on the floor in the NBA before.
