The District Sports Department has now planned to build a synthetic court for lawn tennis in this stadium developed on about 12 acres. Currently there is no tennis court in the stadium. Due to this, players are forced to practice in private academies. There are more than 15 private tennis academies located in the district. District Deputy Sports Officer Poonam Bishnoi said that the proposal has been sent to the government after marking a place for making two synthetic lawn tennis courts in the stadium premises. It is expected that this proposal will be approved soon. After this the work of making it will be started. The lawn tennis ground will be made world class so that many big level competitions can be organized here in future.
Talents dying due to lack of money
A player practicing this game in a private academy said that lawn tennis is an expensive game. Its good rackets cost at least Rs 4,000. Apart from this, kits etc. are also expensive. On top of that, private academies also have expensive fees. Due to lack of facilities for this sport in the government stadium, one has to go to a private academy to practice. Due to expensive fees, financially weak players are forced to leave the game. Many talents die due to this.

About 400 players will benefit from the facility of this game in the government stadium. Lawn tennis players will be able to practice the game in the government stadium at lower fees than private academies. This will also lead to the emergence of many new talents. Both singles and doubles matches can be played in the tennis ground.
