Larnaca Youth Union Basketball Branch determined its goals for the new season at the evaluation meeting held before the 2024-2025 season.
While the club set its goal of becoming champions in both the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s categories, it also focused on training the stars of the future in the youth teams. Larnaca Youth Union, which wants to repeat the success it achieved last season this year, also attracts attention with its strong coaching staff.
Transfer has ended
It was learned that the club signed 3-year transfer contracts with 2 foreign and 2 local players in the senior men’s category, while 2 players from the big goal team were transferred on loan and 2 players left on transfer service. Two new foreign players were transferred to the senior women’s basketball team.
On the other hand, LGBSK also made new appointments in the Basketball branch at its meeting.
Men’s A Team: Strong Steps on the Way to the Championship
The Senior Men’s Team, which won the championship with its effective performance last season, aims for the same success in the 2024-2025 season. While the experienced name Hasan Kasap will assume the role of head coach of the team, his assistants Dzmitry Paliaschuk, Hasan Debeş and Çetin Pırlanta will serve as important figures completing the technical team. Former basketball player Narin Haliloğulları was appointed as the new assistant manager of the Women’s A Team.
