JT from 25Stanley.com writes that the league is not pro, and “not even close to [being] semi-pro.” It is, after all, a beer league. The slashing victim — who JT reports is 6’4″ and 220 pounds and who got up immediately after the hit — has reported the incident to Montreal police and will bring criminal charges against the offending axeman.
