Heeze-1 played on November 13 against Gemert-1, who are at the top of the competition. Ruben and Diana started with their mix and won it easily in 2 sets. The women’s doubles then started in which Naomi and Diana did not encounter any problems and won the match in 2 sets. Dirk and Maarten didn’t start well in the doubles, lost the 1st set, but came back strongly and still won the match with 21-16/11-21/18-21. Yvonne and Dirk then played their mix part. This was nerve-wracking, where they won the 1st set 21-14. Then the match turned completely around and they lost the 2nd set 10-21. The 3rd set was consistently even, but Dirk and Yvonne managed to win the match 26-24! This gave Heeze a 4-0 lead and the singles matches started. Ruben was the first to start in the side canal. Won the 1st set 21-15 and lost the 2nd set 11-21. He had to make the final decision in the last set and he eventually managed to win 22-20. Naomi won her single easily with 21-9 and 21-8. Maarten was the last gentleman who was allowed to go singles. He won the 1st set. Gemert took the 2nd. And the 3rd set had to decide. Maarten was not fooled and easily won the 3rd set 21-9. The last match was for Yvonne. Zei easily won her singles in 2 sets. Which means that Heeze 1 wins 8-0 against Gemert-1 and takes over the lead in the 2nd division.
