He steals 20 jars of honey together with the previous day’s takings from an organic products shop, but is discovered and reported by the State Police. The investigations started from the complaint presented by the owner of the commercial activity to the complaints office of the “Borgo- Ognina” Public Safety Commissioner. In particular, the victim told the officers that, when he opened the shop, he found the entrance door forced, noting the lack of 20 jars of honey and the previous day’s takings which were kept inside the cash register. .
The images from the video surveillance cameras allowed the police to reconstruct the dynamics of the events. In particular, taking advantage of the night hours, a disguised man wearing a baseball hat, after having cut the barbed wire of the external fence that delimited the area pertaining to the commercial business, had forced the entrance door and entered the shop , taking the proceeds as well as the honey from a display counter. After hiding the stolen items inside an envelope, he quickly left the place.
From a careful analysis of the videos, the officers managed to recognize the perpetrator of the theft, as he was a 47-year-old subject to prevention measures. For the above, the man was reported for aggravated theft and violation of the special surveillance measure.
