Hugo Dellien did it again. He reached the final of the Uruguay Open by defeating Argentine Federico Coria 6-3, 6-4 this Saturday in the semifinal round.
“Dellien is very close to winning another professional title and the second in this tournament, since in 2021 he took the champion trophy,” reported the Bolivian Tennis Federation in a press release.
The central court of the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club hosted a fairly even match, as both sets were very balanced.
On the first court there were three breaks of service (two in favor of the Bolivian and one for the Argentine).
While in the second the same thing happened with three breaks (two for Dellien and one for Coria).
The match lasted one hour and 26 minutes.
Dellien is now waiting to meet his rival in the final, who will emerge from the winner of the other semi-final match between the Argentine Camilo Carabelli and the American Tristan Boyer.
