Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. has announced that it will be participating in the finals of the baseball e-sports world tournament “Hughan WBSC e-Premier 12 2024” (hereinafter “e-Premier 12”) sponsored by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), a legend from the Japanese and American baseball world. We would like to inform you that Ichiro will appear as a special guest.

“ePremier 12” is an e-sports world sponsored by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and is held using the WBSC official baseball game “WBSC eBASEBALL (TM) Powerful Professional Baseball” published by our company as the competition title. It’s a tournament. It will be held at the same time as the “World Baseball WBSC Premier 12” (hereinafter referred to as “Premier 12”), which will be held at Tokyo Dome from November 21st (Thursday), and “e Premier 12” will be held on November 23rd (Saturday). The final will be held at the same venue as the Premier 12, Tokyo Dome.

To commemorate the first e-Premier 12, it has been decided that Ichiro, a legend in the Japanese and American baseball world, will appear as a special guest. Ichiro will appear at the opening ceremony and awards ceremony to praise the players who competed for the title of e-Premier 12 inaugural champion.

In addition, on Wednesday, November 21st, at the esports Ginza studio (Ginza, Tokyo), we will be hosting four players, including Mexico’s Ben Zen, Chinese Taipei’s Dashu, Japan’s SHORA, and NEGRAY, who have passed the qualifying round from all over the world.
