The Roman headquarters of WBSC hosted the first session of the new Federal Council elected last November 16th in Pieve di Cento. “With great emotion for me but I also believe for all of you who are at the first experience of this type, except Marco Mannucci in his third mandate, 4 exciting and intense years begin” began the new Federal President Marco Mazzieri “The real difference will be in the passion that we will be able to put into the work that awaits us in this four-year period.”

Once the communications were archived, the work got underway with the proposal, approved unanimously, by the two vice-presidents: Pierluigi Bissa e Marina Centrone they will be 1st and 2nd federal vice-president respectively. “We are flattered by the appointment which we accept with enthusiasm. Regardless of the appointment, for us the philosophy remains that ours must be teamwork and that it must be the basis of everything we do” said in chorus the two councilors chosen for these roles.
The new president was then appointed National Referees Committee: proposed and chosen as the new guide for match officials Marco Taurelli who thus hangs up the strike counter.
