The new season NBA started off in a surprising way for the Houston Rockets who have already won 10 of the first 14 Regular season games played. The franchise’s status is growing, becoming an attractive destination for the league’s great superstars. According to journalist Marc Stein, a great expert on the NBA transfer market, Houston’s possible big targets in the near future are two top players, in particular Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Rockets dream of Durant or Antetokounmpo
Last year the Texan team finished outside the Play-in zone, with a record of 41-41. This year they are currently third in the Western Conference, with 10 wins and a much more lively and solid game. A young team with great room for improvement but which seems to need a superstar to make the big leap and return to competing for important goals, as in the recent past when Harden and Paul led the franchise to fight for the title.
Houston has excellent room for maneuver to try to insert a big player from the market and the dream is Kevin Durantcurrently in Phoenix. The Suns would like to keep him but the player could choose to go elsewhere. The other big target is Antetokounmpo who is experiencing a negative moment with the Bucks, so much so rumors of his possible imminent departure from Milwaukee have become insistent in recent days. Also in this case the Rockets would have the possibility to take him, if the Greek decides to move on.
