Following the attacks on Israeli football fans in Amsterdam last week, Israel is calling on its citizens to avoid cultural and sporting events involving Israel abroad in the coming week.
A statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Israel had information that pro-Palestinian groups abroad planned to attack Israelis in cities in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and other countries. The warning also applies to the Nations League game between France and Israel on Thursday in Paris.
