Istrian Sandro Cavaillé medalist at the junior world championship

Sandro Cavaillé takes a new step towards the very high level of table tennis. The Istrian, regularly selected for training courses and international competitions with the French team, is already certain of winning a first world medal, in U15, for his first participation in this global youth event. He qualified in the semi-finals of the boys’ doubles, associated with Noah Vitel. A half which will be played this Wednesday.

Present in Helsingborg (Sweden) since Friday, the double French cadet champion and bronze medalist at the European Championships in the same category has given himself the means to perform well. He participated in the WTTs in Szombathely (Hungary, U15/U17) and Lignano (Italy, U17/U19).

Sandro Cavaillé is also one of the pillars of the Istres first team which plays in Nationale 1. “The club is doing well.
