6 FVG at PalaPellicone for the A1 Italian Cup and 16 FVG in Verona for the kata tricolors
Another weekend of judo is expected for the FVG athletes who will be involved tomorrow in the Italian regional team Kata championship in Verona and the A1 Italian Cup will be hosted at the PalaPellicone in Ostia.
79 couples will climb on the Venetian mat, of which 8 are FVG:

There will be 6 FVG judokas competing on the Ostiense tatami on Sunday to win the Italian Cup title: 66kg Kail Basset Dojo Sacile; 90kg Nicola Bologae Dojo Sacile, Andrea Martin Dojo Sacile; 100kg Francesco Sanapo Dojo Sacile; 57kg Angela De Nardi Judo Tamai ; 63kg Giulia Boscaia Judo Tamai.
In total there are 179 accredited people, 92 in the male categories, 87 in the female ones. From this edition, the event is accompanied by the institutional name of “Memorial Francesco Soldano”, a tribute to remember a great person, as well as having been a member of the official competition commission at a federal level. Francesco Soldano, born in Rome in 1965, was in Sofia, Bulgaria, to referee the Cadet European Championships last June 30th when he fell ill, the consequences of which unfortunately proved fatal. He was 59 years old.
