A few days ago we commented on the apparent rumors of a change of venue at the ATP Finalswith Milan as a new city that would host the masters tournament until 2030, with Turin saying goodbye and hosting an ATP 500 tournament from that moment on as a legacy and gratitude from the ATP.
Everything seems to be going smoothly, as the ATP has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Italian Tennis Federation to extend the deal that they previously had to keep the ATP Finals until 2025 in Turin, the year in which it would be their last edition to move to another city and Now they will be in Italy until 2030.
The ATP has released several numbers that reflect the success of the Finals in Turin, with more than 183,000 spectators in 2024, with the entire Inalpi Arena at its maximum capacity, in addition to a prize-money of more than 15 million dollarscontest record.
In statements to the ATP, the president of the organization, Andrea Gaudenzi reaffirmed the support that Italy has given to the event: «Over the last four years, Italy has shown itself to be an incredible host of our most prestigious event, with the vision of creating a truly special experience for both players and fans. Thanks to the FITP and all the event partners for their support over the last four years. “We hope to continue raising the bar together.”
