The third day of competitions is completed in a festive atmosphere full of talent and discipline.

The Colombian delegation that will go to the XXVIII South American Games in Bucaramanga begins to be formed.

After advancing in the different qualification rounds, the delegations participating in the national final of the National Intercollegiate Games fulfill their competition schedule. Athletics and chess were the disciplines that demonstrated their power.

Judo culminated its participation in the High Performance Center, where the representatives of Valle, Bogotá and Antioquia demonstrated their leadership with 10, 8 and 7 medals respectively. For their part, the delegations of Cauca and Santander entered the medal table, demonstrating the great sporting potential that exists in all regions of Colombia.

At the close of the third round of chess, Bogotá remains firmly in first place in the women’s pre-youth category. The young Bogotá players continue to demonstrate their ability on the board, while the Norte de Santander team, with a constant performance , occupies second place, followed by Risaralda in third place. The competition in this category is still very close and there is still a long way to go.

Meanwhile, Tolima leads the youth men’s category, which is why it is positioned as the absolute leader after the third round, showing an impressive level of play that places it at the top of the table. The Córdoba team remains in second position, with a solid performance that keeps it in the fight for first place, while Boyacá is third, demonstrating great skill and determination in its confrontations. The three departments continue to fight with great fortitude in search of glory.

Finally, the competition continues its course with high expectations for the final rounds as the tournament progresses, excitement increases among the players and their fans. This year they are demonstrating their strategic level and their ability to adapt to rival tactics.

Meanwhile, school athletics have demonstrated the great sporting reserve that Colombia has, with brands that exalt the best of each athlete and coach. So far Antioquia leads the medal table with 23 medals, Bogotá is second with 11 (seven gold), Valle is in third position with 17 and Atlántico is in fourth place with 9.

School sports action continues in our country, demonstrating the importance of promoting at an early age the love for sport and discipline in its practice.
