GUBBIO – The Trofeo Spaggia di Velluto in Senigallia, in the province of Ancona, reserved excellent results for the Judo Kodokan Gubbio company which in the intense two days, last weekend, reserved for the Cadets and Beginners A and B age groups achieved a very good fourth place in the general classification, just 2 points from third out of a total of 41 participating associations.
The first day saw the Cadets engaged with the athletes of the Eugubine club who, with their results, achieved second place in the provisional ranking for the club. Gold medals for Aurora Martinelli (category -57 kg belts B/A) and Andrea Morra (-66 kg belts V/M). Silver for Francesco Filippetti (-60 kg V/M belts) and M’ Hamed Farchi (-50 kg B/A belts. Finally, bronze for Tommaso Capponi (-66 kg V/M belts). Luca Tamagnini Luca came close to the podium (-73 kg V/M belts) who competed in the final for bronze placing fifth, and finally Martino Vagnarelli placed seventh (-73 kg V/M belts).
It was then the turn, on the second day of competitions, of Rookies A and B. The very young athletes of the Gubbio association brought home a total of 7 medals with 7 participants. The highest podium was achieved by Alessio Panfili (-60 kg Rookies with V/M belt). Silver for Giacomo Mischianti (Rookies A -45 kg belt V/M), Gioele Pierotti (-46 kg Rookies B belt B/A) and Yahya Farchi (-42 kg belt B/A). Bronze for Lorenzo Pugno (-60 kg Rookies B V/M belt), Marco Ragni (-55 kg Rookies A V/M belt) and Luca Fioroni (-66 kg Rookies B V/M belt).
The Judo Kodokan Gubbio club also leaves behind the experience of the A2 Italian Cup final faced with the athletes Riccardo Rossi, Emanuele Monacelli and Samuel Radicchi who competed at the highest levels of competitiveness in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
