Judo-Safari

23 judoka went on safari in the forest school gymnasium today – on a judo safari.

The children collected points in the areas of creativity, judo and athletics in order to get one of the safari animals as a patch for their judo suit. Depending on the score, there is a yellow kangaroo, an orange fox, a green snake, a blue eagle, a brown bear or a black panther.

At home, the participants were already creative and baked, crafted, painted, carved and glued on the theme of judo.
The safari then started as a warm-up with “bullfights” on the thick mat, where the children were already giving it their all. Afterwards, the judo fights really got down to business and all the judoka showed exciting fights. Even the little ones gained their first experiences on the competition mat with a lot of ambition.
After a long lunch break, in which everyone fortified themselves at the rich buffet – thanks to the parents – the athletics continued.
The next points were collected in the medicine ball throw, sack race triple jump and obstacle race.
Now all the judoka are eagerly awaiting the evaluation of the points and their safari animal.
