The Accademia Judo Fano once again climbed to the top step of the podium in Spello in the Coppa Umbria, capable of doing the double after the triumph in February. The company of the president and maestro Umberto Battista prevailed over a dozen teams from central Italy, showing up at the event with four athletes in the Ragazzi age class and eighteen Fanciulli. The Fano medal table speaks of a total of 16 golds, 4 silvers and 2 bronzes, distributed as follows: gold Gloria Castronovo, Matias De Pierro, Nicola Ordonselli, Giacomo Argenio, Emanuel Erbi, Gisel Ferri, Leonardo Gravina, Giulia Marcantognini, Nicholas Molo, Matteo Niro, Dino Rossini, Angelo Santarsieri, Tommaso Sinapi, Nicola Ugolini, Lorenzo Zeppi and Vittoria De Paola, silver Nicolò Spinaci, Luca Argenio, Michele Berardi and Nico Bracalenti and bronze Daniel Spizzico and Davide Ambrosini. Accompanying them, in addition to the aforementioned Battista, were also the other instructor Enrico Ridolfi and the technical assistant Luca Tazzari. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury prevented the new regional champion and black belt Nicoletta Russo from competing in the A2 Italian Cup in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud), for which she had brilliantly qualified. The Accademia Judo Fano will be in Riccione on Saturday and Sunday at the Cseno national championship with all categories and 38 representatives. Info. www.accademiajudofano.it
