ASD Crono Sport has been working for decades in the promotion and practice of Judo at the Palazzetto Le Cupole in via Artom at the entrance to the bridge over the Sangone.
In the southern Turin area it is a point of reference for judo enthusiasts and many come from Nichelino which is just a stone’s throw away.
This amateur sports association is also active in organizing courses in other sports disciplines, such as gymnastics, aikido, karate, Ju Jutsu and personal defense, but the core mission remains judo. Born in 1997 and founded by Maestro Roberto Incarnato, 4th Dan black belt, Crono Sport follows judoki of all levels and all belts, both in the competitive and training sectors, offering spaces for training throughout the year to except for the months of July and August. In the Fijlkam context it periodically organizes the prestigious Turin Cup trophy Judo Competition.
Furthermore, in this 2024/025 season the children’s sector is being relaunched with the possibility of attending the judo and karate course for free starting from 4 years of age. In the next phase, interested children can be introduced to pre-competitive and competitive activities. As highlighted by pediatricians and child psychologists, the practice of judo is useful for a good psychophysical condition and for correct motor development even for very young people.
For children aged 4 and over, the course is held in the gym of the Peyron – Fermi School in Piazza Giacomini 24 in Turin every Thursday from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm with the possibility of training in the spaces of the Palazzetto Le Cupole in the afternoons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6pm to 7.30pm. From 6 years of age the course takes place at Palazzetto Le Cupole in via Artom 111 on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6pm to 7.30pm
