(JTH) November 11, 2024 – The Holten judo team invites everyone aged 13 and over to the open day next Saturday, November 16th. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. you have the opportunity to train with the U15 and U18 youth from Holten or to get a taste of the sport of judo and its techniques.
The training is accompanied and guided by Holten’s experienced youth coaches and Bundesliga fighters Finn Bittscheidt and Matthias Czepull. Other Bundesliga and senior fighters will stop by during the day, train, instruct and be available to answer questions. “We want to show what a great sport and what a great community judo is and invite everyone to get a taste of judo for themselves,” said Holten’s youth officers Jennifer Petrich and Nadine Kremeier.
The open day takes place in the sports hall of the Sophie-Scholl-Gymnasium in Sterkrade on Tirpitzstrasse. Normal sports clothing is sufficient for trial training. The club provides snacks and drinks.
