The Chiapaneca Judo Team travels to Campeche to participate in the “Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi” National Tournament, which will be held from April 27 to 30 at the Campeche XXI Convention and Exhibition Center, which aims to provide a good performance and training. of the judokas who seek to arrive in optimal conditions at the greatest sporting event in the country.
This edition will be different, since in previous years it will be the last qualifier for national ranking and the best will compete in the Conade Nationals; On this occasion it will be a qualifier for international events and other invitational events by the Mexican Judo Federation. On this occasion, the Chiapas representative will be in competition with 18 gladiators who will seek an outstanding performance.
In an interview, the President of the Alliance of Judokas of the state of Chiapas, Alberto Damas, said that Chiapas judo throughout these years has had an important evolution that has allowed it to be at the top of the podium at a national and international level. , with great exponents who continue to fill this Chiapas land with pride that has seen them get ahead in this sport that they are passionate about.
Damas Gutiérrez stated that she is proud of these 18 athletes who will participate in this sporting event for which they have been preparing hard in the training sessions, where they have sought to perfect techniques so that they arrive with the best tools to face their opponents.
At the same time, he thanked the support and constant concern of the director of the Sports Institute, Tania Robles Velázquez, for the young people, since without this the training and maximum preparation prior to all the sporting commitments that throughout the year would not be possible. of the year they have.
