Those quarterback matchups shaped the NFL for decades, and for the eighth time in the last five seasons, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will face off before the eyes of the entire NFL world. The stakes couldn’t be higher, at least for one regular season game.
The Chiefs enter the game as the league’s only undefeated team at 9-0, having found just about every way possible to win a game this season, while the 8-2 Bills have a huge lead in the AFC East and they have ripped off five straight victories, scoring more than 30 points in their last four games.
Kansas City has a 4-3 advantage over Buffalo in the seven Mahomes-Allen meetings. The Bills have actually beaten the Chiefs each of the last three years in the regular season, but in January of 2021, 2022 and 2024, Kansas City eliminated Buffalo from the playoffs, including the one in Orchard Park, en route to a second straight Super Bowl. title last season.
The Chiefs-Bills matchup will take center stage this Sunday: a national start time of 4:25 pm ET on CBS. Fox will show Falcons-Broncos or Seahawks-49ers, both set for kickoff at 4:05 pm ET to round out the afternoon schedule.
