Khimki midfielder Corredera named the main differences between Russian football and Spanish football

Spanish midfielder of Khimki Alex Corredera compared football in Russia and Spain and named the main differences.

“Football here is completely different than in Spain. Faster and more athletic. Less ball control. Teams try to play fast passing. On the road, many clubs act closed, sending only three or four players forward,” Corredera said in a conversation with “Championship” correspondent Oleg Lysenko.

This season, Alex Corredera played 11 matches for the club in all tournaments, in which he failed to score effective actions. The player’s current labor agreement with his current club runs until the summer of 2026. The 28-year-old footballer’s market value is €1 million according to Transfermarkt.
