The 12th week of the Turkish Insurance Basketball 1st League (TBL) has been completed after the matches played.
Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor was the guest of Esenler Erokspor away in the 12th week of TBL. The first period was neck and neck at Istanbul Ahmet Cömert Hall and ended with a 20-20 draw.
While a balanced game was played in the second period, Büyükşehir took the lead into the locker room with a score of 43-44. Konya team increased the difference by increasing its offensive power in the third quarter and entered the last period ahead 58-67. The yellow-blacks, who resisted the opponent’s pressure in the final period, won the third consecutive victory by leaving the critical away match with a score of 85-80.
In the fight in which Oğulcan Baykan played the leading role in the victory with his 20-point performance, Nuwriyl Elijah Williams was among the architects of the victory with 15 points, Alp Karahan with 14 points, Ahmet Can Duran with 12 points, and Khalid Lethaniel Thomas with 10 points.
Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor will host Kocaeli team Çayırova Belediyespor on Sunday, December 1, in the 13th week match. The match to be played at Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall will start at 15.30.
