Alta Level A5 Men’s Doubles Category
‘Fowler’ (Captain Andrew Kim), a member of the Korean tennis club, defeated his opponent and won the title (City Champion) in the Level A5 Men’s Doubles final hosted by the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association on the 9th.
Fowler’s team beat their opponent, Sharon Lester, with a set score of 3:2 in the final held at the Winward Lake Club tennis court in Alpharetta and lifted the trophy.
The Paulter team achieved the feat of winning the Alta League in the spring of 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic began, four years after winning the championship. At the finals on this day, many Koreans, acquaintances, and families had a meaningful time cheering and eating simple food together.
Captain Aldrew Kim, who led the championship, said, “I am grateful to the TTS Club for playing tennis with me on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I would also like to thank coaches Eun-sik Jeong and Min-seok Kim who were with me on line number 1 this season.” He added, “All players performed well in their respective lines. “I did my best and ended up winning,” he said.
