Since the first days of September 2024, the judokas have once again been treading the tatamis of the La Gacilly judo club. Indeed, after an interruption of a sports season, the leaders found a solution in their search for a teacher, in the person of Alexis Rousseau.
This black belt teacher, currently in BPJEPS training with the Brittany Judo League, provides lessons on Monday and Wednesday:
From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for children
From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for pre-teens
7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for adults
On the occasion of this event the following question was asked to Georges Boidin, Alexis’ tutor: “what does it feel like to return to the tatami at La Gacilly? »
“It is with immense pleasure mixed with emotion that I help Alexis in this process as a tutor. I taught courses from 1996 to 2002 and today see the still dynamic executives in
their management of the club gives me a lot of satisfaction,” answers Georges Boidin.
With the help of the municipality and the executives of the Brittany Judo League, the club has all
the structure essential to its functioning.
The office made up of Hugues Mahé, president, Eric Cotte, treasurer and Richard Nabot, secretary, took the necessary steps to put the club on track for the season.
This one is ready to receive young people for a trial lesson.
“Judo”, which stood out in the medal haul at the Paris 2024 games, is attracting athletes this fall.
