In the aftermath of the Las Vegas Raiders’ 17:19 defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs, the final sequences of the game are a topic of conversation. The Raiders are struggling with a referee’s decision and have now made a complaint to the league.
The Las Vegas Raiders narrowly missed out on a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs. Because 15 seconds before the end of the game, the Raiders were within field goal range. A successful attempt would have put the Raiders on the road to victory.
But then center Jackson Powers-Johnson’s snap failed. The Chiefs secured the ball and the victory. Quarterback Aidan O’Connell was disappointed after the game, but took the blame for the snap.
However, the sequence seems to have upset the Raiders. In a press session, Antonio Pierce complained about the refereeing performance.
Raiders file complaint with NFL
“We heard a whistle on the sideline,” said Pierce, blaming the referees for it. This may have caused confusion for his quarterback.
According to Pierce, the Raiders have already submitted the sequence to the league for complaint. However, he doesn’t expect anything to change the result of the game.
The Raiders are now 2-10, the Chiefs secured the division title early with their eleventh win in their twelfth game.
