Lazio achieved their seventh victory in the championship – the third in a row – against a Cagliari who were willing but ultimately reduced to 9 men and therefore limited. In the standings the Biancocelesti thus join Atalanta and Fiorentina in third place.
The match entertains the Olimpico crowd right from the start: after just two minutes Dia takes advantage of Scuffet’s sensational indecision momentarily giving the Biancocelesti the lead at the end of the first half Luvumbo, also thanks to Gila’s deviation – who has an open account with the own goals this year -, displaces Provedel.
