Lünen-Dortmund combat community at the league tournament: U12 team wins bronze

This year the league for U12 teams took place as a tournament format at JC Holzwickede. For this purpose, the 1. JJJC Lünen formed a fighting group with the TSC Eintracht Dortmund so that enough children came together for a team.
In the first encounter the team met the first team from Holzwickede. In the weight class under 26 kg, the fighting group was unable to provide a judoka, so the point automatically went to Holzwickede. Felizitas Kolisko (-30 kg) won her fight with a holding technique. Unfortunately, Emma Wöste (-34 kg), Emma Busse (-38 kg) and Jana Eckey (-42 kg) were thrown out. Len Berge (-42 kg) was able to get half a point through a draw. In the end it was 1.5:4.5 for Holzwickede.
The fighting group then competed against TV Werne. Emma Busse and Felizitas Kolisko lost here. Finn Wormitt won without a fight in the under 42 kg weight class. Lina Rüping was successful in the under 34 kg class with a throwing technique. Jana Eckey used one technique after another in her fight, but was unable to get any points. That meant a draw for their fight and also the entire encounter against Werne.
In the following encounter, the young fighters met the Lüner SV team. This fight also ended in a draw. Lina Rüping and Jana Eckey won here with strong throwing techniques and Len Berge with a routinely executed hold.
At the end there was a fight against the second team from JC Holzwickede. Emma Busse gave it her all again and, after a long fight with her opponent, managed to win half a point through a draw. Finn Wormitt took advantage of his opponent’s uncertain position at the right moment and threw him flat on his back, which meant his early victory. The team could be satisfied with this 1.5:4.5 against Holzwickede. At the end of the year, it was another good opportunity for everyone to gain experience with official fights.
