Although he no longer works on the main circuit, Rick Macci remains a regular fan. Known for having trained several stars of our sport, such as the Williams sisters, Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova, the coach continues to give his opinions, often correct, about our sport.
Thus, in a recent tweet, Macci spoke with quite little hesitation about the identity of the best forehand of all time (in the men’s category): «The best forehand of all time on the ATP circuit has many contenders. . But considering the time and precision of the set, it’s an easy decision. “No one has delivered the mail better and returned the package to the sender than the great Roger Federer.”
